Japanese Forest Grass

For many, Japanese forest grass gives the effect of a flowing stream of bright, yellow-green leaves. This low-growing perennial provides fantastic ground cover and color.

Belonging to the Hakonechloa family, Japanese forest grass thrives more in shade than in sun. As it grows to a mature height of 12-24 inches, its arching leaves gracefully brush the ground. You can expect the grass to do most of its growing in summer.
